THE VITOSHA VISITOR CENTRE

is the first of the chain of information educational centres built at the protected territories in Bulgaria. The centre was founded on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the announcement of the oldest park in Southeastern Europe – VITOSHA, and has been functional since May 1968.

The project is the result of the joint efforts of the Ministry of Environment and Water and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
